Sarah and Jamie are expecting a baby boy!

Scrubs co-stars Judy Reyes and Sarah Chalke have a very special Christmas (09) planned – as new first-time mums.

Reyes, 42, is expecting a baby girl at the beginning of December (09), while Chalke is due on Christmas Day (25Dec09).

And the two pals exchanged notes about impending motherhood at Reyes’ recent baby shower in Santa Monica, California.

The mum-to-be tells Life & Style magazine, “We just had a talk about what it’s going to be like once they’re really here – and both of us have no freaking idea what it’s going to be like.”

Reyes tells the publication that her friend is expecting a little boy.

Scrubs star Sarah Chalke will be expecting the best present ever this coming Christmas – a baby boy!

Judy Reyes, who plays Carla on Scrubs alongside Sarah and is expecting a baby girl in early December, confirmed to Life & Style that Sarah’s expecting a son on Christmas Day.

“We just had a talk about what it’s going to be like once they’re really here,” Judy said, “and both of us have no freaking idea what it’s going to be like!”

This is the first child for Sarah, 33, and her fiance Jamie Afifi.

ABC’s revamped “Scrubs” will return to the network airwaves December 1st.

Show, which will undergo an overhaul this year as the focus shifts to a med school setting, will air Tuesdays at 9 p.m. starting that night.

For its launch, “Scrubs” will also air a second original episode that night, at 9:30 p.m. Sophomore laffer “Better Off Ted” returns the following week, Dec. 8, at 9:30 p.m.

On Dec. 1, “Scrubs” 2.0 will bow behind the animated holiday special “Prep & Landing,” which will air at 8:30 that night.

“Prep & Landing,” which coincidentally features the voice of “Scrubs” vet Sarah Chalke, is the first-ever ABC special from Walt Disney Animation.

New “Scrubs” stars returnees John C. McGinley and Donald Faison as well as Eliza Coupe, Michael Mosley, Kerry Bishe and Dave Franco. Original series star Zach Braff is also set to appear in several episodes.

Sarah Chalke, star of the television show “Scrubs” has teamed up with Ambassador Nancy G. Brinker and Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Passionately Pink for the Cure campaign.

It’s a fundraising program that allows people to celebrate and honor those touched by breast cancer while raising funds for breast cancer research and community outreach programs.

Disney has announced that Prep & Landing will be making its debut on ABC on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at 8:30 – 9:00 PM (Eastern). The special focuses on Lanny and Wayne, a pair of elves in the elite “Prep & Landing” unit, which prepares homes in advance of a visit from Santa Claus. The show will star Dave Foley and Derek Richardson as Lanny and Wayne, and Sarah Chalke as Magee, the North Pole Christmas Eve Command Center Coordinator.

In September, Sarah took part of the “Susan G. Komen for the Cure” race in Orange County, California. I have added 2 HQ photos during the race and speaking after the race… She looks amazing, and you can see her baby bump too! :wink:

There was recently an interview with one of the creators of “How I Met Your Mother” and they were asked whether Sarah would be reprising her role as Stella on the show… Here’s what they had to say!

TVGuide.com: Are we going to see Sarah Chalke again? The Wedding Bride’s supposed to come out.
Bays: The Wedding Bride is set for May! We haven’t explored whether Sarah’s going to be there. … [She's pregnant so] she could actually just be pregnant on the show. That would just make it that much worse for Ted. “Oh, great! She’s pregnant now!”

Sarah is featured in the October 2009 issue of “Self” magazine! She is part of the 2009 Women’s Cancer Handbook, where she discusses breast cancer awareness.

The magazine will be in stores on September 22nd and you can read an excerpt of her article at Self.com.

I’ll be picking up the magazine – so expect scans when I am able to scan them!

According to E! Online, when Sarah returns as Elliot on “Scrubs”, she will be pregnant!

Tera in Boston: I’m so excited that Scrubs is coming back, but I miss the ladies, Carla and Elliot. Will we ever see them again?
Yes we will! Preggo Sarah Chalke is guesting in the Scrubs season-nine premiere as preggo Elliot!
